The challenge
Most of the multimedia work that we produce requires an engaging introductory piece to set the mood for what is to come. Each must tie in well with the content at hand, and create a desire in the user to learn more.
The process
Elements are collected from the client, in many cases from the textbook if this is to be an introduction to a Publisher’s CD-ROM. A script is written to bring the elements together in Flash, and in such a way to create interest in the viewer.
Additionally, we have a vast audio library, whereby we can take literally any style of music and produce the desired mood in the Flash creation.
The outcome
A mix of introductions in a variety of contexts. Examples are:
The Independent Film Channel: "commercial" type introduction to IFC's online promotion for their magazine IFCRant (click here to download to your desktop)
Prentice Hall, Career Health Division: introduction to the Emergency Care CD-ROM we developed (click here to download to your desktop)
Wadsworth Publishing: introductory piece to the Child and Adolescent Development CD-ROM we produced (click here to download to your desktop)
Prentice Hall, Humanities Division:
- introduction to the Yudkin music CD-ROM we designed and developed, featuring various musical styles (click here to download to your desktop)
- opener to the Macionis Sociology CD-ROM we produced (click here to download to your desktop)
