The challenge
To blend new content into a pre-existing emergency care CD-ROM title, creating a powerful, worthwhile experience for students.

The process
The first challenge was receiving content definition, and the subsequent assets, from the client. Given the magnitude of materials, both old and new, the design had to be carefully crafted to accommodate all elements, both global and chapter-specific.

Besides incorporating pre-existing interactive content, we developed a variety of multimedia components, including:

An interactive basketball game in Flash, whereby the user's team advances as correct answers to questions are provided. If the player answers incorrectly, the computer's team advances towards making the basket. This game may be demo'ed at www.redfroginc.com/bbgame.

An interactive Triage simulation that allows the student to assess random patient scenarios and determine in what order to administer care.

Quizzing units with extensive feedback, wrapped in the overall CD design.

The client, as always, followed our progress via our exclusive Project Tracker, which allows those with access to view daily progress on their projects. The outcome
An engaging, intelligent, entertaining CD-ROM, complete with games, a variety of multimedia assets, and incorporating our new design and programming.
