The story
In 2001, we had the chance to do some giving back when we held our first annual "free creative services" contest. Everyone in our database was invited to submit their creative needs for a chance to win.

This led to many interesting submissions, with the winning entry coming from Delmar Learning, a 57-year-old Publishing company in New York.

The challenge
Delmar was in need of a brochure to brand their new delmarlearning.com. They needed a marketing piece that would effectively sell their varied family of services.

The process
To kick things off, we spent ample time understanding the purpose of the brochure. This was accomplished through several conversations and spending plenty of time browsing through delmarlearning.com.

Delmar provided ideas on how content should be distributed as well as various sources for developing the copy. Based on this basic information, we produced a solid design, selected all photography, wrote the copy, and produced the entire piece—all the while keeping a strong focus on their target audiences.

As is always the case, communication was key in ensuring that this piece met with all expectations.

The outcome
A marketing piece that fit right in with Delmar's needs and that has resulted in a great deal of interest in delmarlearning.com.
